Los Angeles Kings New York Sport reviews
Kings v. Blackhawks at Staples Center
I went all the way from Ohio to watch the Kings play game 6 at home in the western conference finals. I was hoping to see them win the series, but even though they lost I could not be disappointed in my decision to go. The pre-game festivities outside the arena were fantastic, the game was fantastic, and so was the atmosphere. Parking was a little hectic, but that was to be expected. As an out-of-towner I was very appreciative of the parking garage directory posted outside of Staples Center as I was having a bit of a hard time orienting myself. I do not regret my decision to go at all. It's going to be very tempting to buy a Stanley Cup final ticket, that's all I'm saying.
2 Cups are Better Than 1!!!
So proud of my LA Kings on winning their second Stanley Cup in 3 years. Wish I could be equally proud of the way this event was set up. Whereas, the previous Stanley Cup rally ticket allowed me to get in front of Staples Center to view the end of the parade, this time that was NOT the case. I was told only press and VIP members could stand in front of Staples. Perhaps this could have been disclosed in an e-mail or when tickets were obtained. Thank goodness for the rally inside Staples which was short, action-packed and I got to see my favorite players along with LA Kings staff.
